Travel recommendations for vaccinated and unvaccinated people

Thinking of traveling this summer? Here's everything you'll need to know! With vaccines rolling out en masse, it might be tempting to book a flight already – but wait. Each country has its own different rules and regulations, but they tend to cross over quite a bit. \r\n
\r\n
\r\nIf you’ve already gotten your COVID-19 vaccine, travelling will be simpler, as most places have already started to recognize international certificates and doctor’s papers saying as much. If not, it might be wise to look at CDC’s risk rating for your destination, before booking your next business class flight.\r\n\r\n

Minimal risk & unknown

\r\n\r\nSome areas either don’t supply enough reliable information or don’t present a significant health risk. Australia, the Virgin Islands, Greenland, Israel, New Zealand, Nigeria, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan are some of the low-risk destinations. Not only do they make for an excellent experience, but if you’re unvaccinated, it might be a great chance to book business class flights that will remain available until the end.\r\n
\r\n
\r\nOn the flip side, there are certain places where you’d be better off conducting your research and coming up with personal conclusions. Algeria, Monaco, North Korea, Syria, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, and the Virgin Islands, all can’t be specifically said to have a certain level of risk. As a result, the official recommendation is to make sure you’re fully vaccinated before traveling, as the risk level could range from low to severe, and might change up quickly as more data becomes available.\r\n
\r\n
\r\n

Medium risk

\r\nHere are the countries where unvaccinated travelers should think twice before booking with luxury airlines, as the situation is typically stable but not great. If you or someone you're traveling with has health problems that place them at risk for a severe COVID-19 infection, avoid travel unless it's strictly necessary as it might pose a threat. The countries include Barbados, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Finland, Jamaica, Kenya, Morocco, and Moldova. \r\n
\r\n
\r\n

Considerable risk

\r\nUnfortunately, the COVID-10 virus is still in full force, despite vaccination efforts worldwide. For the while, these countries either have a high incidence rate, are suspected to have a large part of the population as carriers, or otherwise represent a high likelihood of infection. Generally, only vaccinated persons should travel to the countries on this list. The countries here range from Austria, Armenia, and Canada to Denmark, Germany, Iran, Norway, Romania, Russia, Turkey, and the UK. This list is quite large, but as time passes it will inevitably shrink.\r\n
\r\n
\r\nFor all cases of non-essential travel, make sure you’re either vaccinated or going to a low, or at most medium risk country. If you’re traveling to Europe, it can be helpful to know that the governments issue a COVID-19 passport for all EU citizens, which allows for a simpler travel procedure. \r\n
\r\n
\r\nNaturally, traveling to and from other countries, especially ones on the riskier side of the scale, will require a negative COVID-19 test. Masks are still largely needed across all forms of public transportation\r\n\r\n\r\n
